THE ORGANIZATION

a non-profit, charitable organization in
existence since 1979

operated by a 12 member volunteer Board of
Directors elected by a membership body

started as a parent support group, and has
evolved into a program delivery agent
-
receives funding from the provincial government
as a non-government agency to operate two group homes, as well as
financial support from the Saskatoon District Health Board for the
delivery of home-based services for children
-
the majority of funding for the delivery of
specialized programs and services is received through memberships,
donations and fundraising initiatives
PURPOSE
To continue to improve the quality of living for
all individuals with autism and their families.
MISSION STATEMENT
Autism Treatment Services of Saskatchewan is a
provincial, charitable organization, dedicated to providing quality
treatment, educational and advocacy services to individuals with autism
spectrum disorder and their families. We are committed to assisting
individuals realize their potential.
OBJECTIVES

To develop and improve services for individuals
with autism and their families.

To provide support to families.

To promote public awareness and education of
autism.
